A few players away from what? We’re a bad team, are we working our way up to pathetic? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't bad better than pathetic?
Let's not kid ourselves though, in the NFL teams go from horrible to awesome overnight. The Giants in particular are a franchise that won a SB then didn't win a playoff game in 3 years before the year they win another SB, then won 1 playoff game in 9 seasons before making another SB, then not winning another playoff game in 6 years before winning the SB, then no playoff wins for 3 years before winning the SB again. Most of those years they didn't even sniff the playoffs.
It's been 9 years since the SB. Seems about right we will catch lightning in a bottle and win the whole thing this year.
Now you’re splitting hairs. Speaking of not kidding ourselves, those teams you mentioned. You know, they go from bad to good overnight, we don’t fall into that category. We have been bad for sometime now. Normally, teams break down their roster and become relevant fairly quickly. We on the other hand are still trying to figure that out. Only way we catch lightning in a bottle is if 31 teams fall off the face of the earth and we’re the only team standing. Then, I like our chances..

Man choosing between 2 of these WRs would be fantastic but also very difficult. I have it Smith, Chase, Waddle but I would take any of them. I honestly think they are all as good as any WR prospect last year and that was the best WR class ever. I'll take any of the 3 and be happy Reminds me in a way of the OT class. Would have been happy witb any of the 4... 100%
I just keep hoping one of them fall to us. Seems like the 2nd year in a row that the strength of the class lines up perfectly with our needs.

And it seems like this year's Simmons is either Rousseau (tbe double edged sword is if he played and repeated his production he is a top 5 pick because he proved he is as good as his athletic ability is...)or Paye(the real frightening pick )

Last week has nothing to do with this weeks game. Two years ago has nothing to do with next year. How much roster turn over has happened? How many new coaches? We won 6 games this year and were in almost all of them and had a horrible offense. We had a rookie LT, first time C, rotating rookies on the OL, our best player gone for the year, an injured QB, trash at WR, a TE that couldn't catch but was #1 in targets ect. It's not crazy to think this team will score more points next season and with this D if we can score a little more we can win more.
I'm not saying we will turn into a dynasty suddenly but is it that crazy to see us in the playoffs? We have the worst division in football.

The more I watch the more I see it. Rousseau is SUPER raw and not really that athletic. He runs like a baby deer and isn't all that good against the run, decent but not that good. Paye is very twitchy and is a beast against the run, he isn't that great in the pass rush though. Both can do both but one is clearly the better pass rusher and the other is clearly the run defender.
I actually think I like Azeez Ojulari better than both. Reminds me of JPP. He is raw and needs to learn but he will get there. I am not sure any should be a top 11 pick though.
Either way I wouldn't pass on these 3 WRs for anyone in the draft.

I like Judge. He seems like a great fit for us. I’m reserved with buying into his philosophy. A winning season or two would change my mind quickly. Is it crazy to see us in the playoffs? Crazy is a strong word, highly unlikely sounds about right. But, they have as good as a chance as any team in the division. It all depends on how this offseason shapes up, if Jones steps up in a big way and Barkley stays healthy. A lot of “ifs” And when the word “if” is used when describing your team, you still have a lot of work to do.

not one of our skill players would even sniff the field if they were wearing bucs uniforms this year. you gotta at least try to give Jones a fighting chance. what would the macro strategy be if you only added a 3rd round wr? field position and gano fgs? weapons and OL Mahomes and the Chiefs showed what weapons and no OL can result as too. most teams can't afford to pay for quality backups and the Chiefs just paid the price for it..

You can have the best defensive talent in the league, but if your offense is inept as ours is, then those guys on defense will get gassed. They're human.
I get that the Bucs D dominated, and I'm all about getting pass rushers, but yall need to keep in mind that the Bucs also have 3 WRs that are much better than any WR on our team, and a QB that is much better than ours. TE, too, hell maybe even 2 tight ends better than ours.

Coming into this season I thought the offense would be improved and the defense would be this teams downfall and boy was I wrong. As much as I understand the sentiment BPA at 11 and all things included, I would definitely be pretty let down if they didnt go offense in the first. Buccs have a great D but their offense puts up points. The Giants cant. This past year we saw almost everything possible happen. Bad QB play, QB get injured, bad offensive line play, WRs not getting open, WRs/Engram dropping passes, ill timed turnovers, you name it. The defense, even with obvious holes, was a big strength of this team. They really need to go O this year because if Jones doesnt have a good 2021 then Jones/Garrett/Gettleman are all gone. no doubt they have to go offense big time. if they dont then they are dumbasses absolutely agree, IMO our defense is good enough to win with but we really need to get a WR who can stretch the field and make the contested catch and a decent TE..
