Not good. Up to now, they've been pretty lucky with the D.

3 weeks to heal This is why we kept Beal ... Camp body I predict Jackson starts season on IR with this, first game back would be the Saints, best case scenario.

Jackson has had 3 ankle injuries between College and NFL. This is a concern. Also, Grade 1 ankle sprains don't come with "significant" swelling, its likely a grade 2 and those are in the 3-6 week timeline.

Not good. Up to now, they've been pretty lucky with the D. Yeah, nothing like what the Jets are going through. But the FA dice rolls on recently injured players for key roles are not going so well.

If the medical staff cleared him thEN i woulD belieVE he was completely healthy at the time off his signing judging by hi splay on the field to this point he looked like there were no ill affects, Sometimes injuries happen we will have to see if he can stay healthy same goes for Golladay.

We signed three guys with injury histories (Golloday, Jackson and Ross) and drafted one (Toney).
And guess what? They are all injured.
Surprise, surprise.

Rarely works, but at least we got one playoff season out of it. What will this group do? im genuinely curious.

I agreed with most of the posts in here...but it's funny to see them and then see that tweet.
Graham led a good defense last year with total scrubs rotating in and out of CB2. I think we're built to deal with an injury outside that isn't James Bradberry (which would hurt any team).

I think we're built to deal with an injury outside that isn't James Bradberry (which would hurt any team). This true, although some would note we really only beat one good team. But I think having the two very good man cover guys, rather than rotating zone, would allow Graham to be more creative with the pass rush from the secondary.

Though I think we've upgraded beyond Yiadom and Ryan Lewis as far as who could take over as the other outside corner (at least in theory). Not the same as having jackson and bradberry out there, but we shouldn't have to almost completely rely on zone playcalls to cover up the inefficiencies. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with zone calls, but Graham wants to be as versatile as possible and so does everyone I'm sure.

Are we surprised? He missed 13 games last year. Only one who didn’t see this coming was Gettleman. And I don’t care if it’s reported “it doesn’t look bad.” Ankle injuries are a bitch. Especially, to a player who earns his paycheck on his speed and athleticism. And to the fans who think this gives hope to our hopeless cornerback Sam Beal. Watch the games, and read the amount of games missed in his career. For God sakes, some wide receiver who played corner last week, got the night off. In part, the ball was thrown towards Sam Beals direction.
This is where Julian Love is valuable. He can play corner in a pinch, and can hold the fort down until Jackson is fully healed.

This deep secondary is suddenly not so deep at CB. Aaron Robinson being out all of camp is devastating for a 3rd round rookie the Giants traded up to get. There's now an opportunity for Crossen and Josh Jackson to fight for a spot further up the depth chart.

This upcoming preseason game with the Patriots is going to be Ug-lee.. Belicheck is back on the revenge tour and it looks like he will conduct a scorched earth policy towards the rest of the NFL.. I know its preseason but...
