Daniel Jones is having a good season so far! His numbers are even better then the Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson! Daniel Jones isn't the problem and if he keeps playing good and doesn't get hurt Giants should get A pass Rusher and or an offensive Lineman in the first round of the draft! We're getting the Bears first round draft pick do we have any other first round draft picks?;I don't want to trade back we need big playmakers on the defensive line and offensive line....

Danny Dimes Ain't The Problem! He ain't the answer either. Consider this: Jones is playing decently enough but not well enough to win games. That's not the mark of a 6th overall pick "franchise QB." Count the top 5 QBs that have failed think it might be a we bit more then succeeded, Jones needs to get this offense going in the red zone if not he might be gone or they might watch him play for one more year then decide. There is nothing in this draft that is anymore intriguing then Jones right now. |

It's a team sport the kid can't do it alone. You really think any Incarnation of Eli Manning would be doing any better on this team that's laughable to say the Least, Eli would be doing no better on this team. Did you see the way Jones leveled absolutely crushed the defensive lineman to get the touchdown! How about all these bogus penalties? Against the Washington team Jones scored on a great running play the holding had nothing to do with that play and was a tricky tack penalty. How about against Falcons that head to head penalty he hit him in the head with his shoulder that should not have been a penalty we don't get either penalties we win both games and are 2-0 record. |

Jones is playing really well
and it is encouraging that there is still much room for improvement
with proper coaching he will only get better
1 pick in his last 9 games is a nice little stat
I'd like to see him throw receivers open a little more... seems he stresses putting the ball on the numbers too much.

None of us know and the only people who do are those in the building watching tape and no the assignments for each redzone play my only problem is that redzone offense maybe if they change the play caller we could get to the bottom of it. One other thing i see he puts the ball on the receiver but not where they opportunities after the catch another thing ash a film Junkie would need to break down is he hitting the back shoulder and center mass trying to keep from a defender closing on the front side of the route |

Jones is operating at an extremely high level in a bad system unfortunately that makes it nearly impossible to actually evaluate if he is a legit franchise qb or low level game manager type that you can move on from if you get the chance to,which is the absolute worst scenario for this team right now. What you mentioned about receivers drifting is probably why he isn't trying to throw open recievers nore often,he has done it so I know he can,but one reason for the lack of ints is because he is putting the ball somehow away from all the defenders around the pass area At this point he needs to be 100% unleashed..... I'd rather him go full Jamis Winston than be stuck in this area of evaluation he is at right now ..... |

For this team in the state it is in having not to have to worry about the QB position or Left Tackle would be a big win they can use that draft capital to build out the rest of the OL and pass rush. YA what is your take on Ojulari he has a heck of a motor and is still developing, he needs a few more moves think the sky's the limit he has the energy and want to. |

League wide? Meh at best. Our GM was supposed to revamp the entire OL, he has not. There have been a few plays that could have been TDs or big gains but DJ has been pressured or sacked. |

According to YA there are some deep routes but they are well down the progressions because they are basically decoys to open up the underneath. So tbe question is are these guys purposely running these routes to be covered or are defenses starting to ignore them and they might seem on paper to be open but not expecting the ball This system is completely rotten to the core,especially if we are wasting vertical shots on bullshit like this |

It is still very difficult to evaluate Jones’ play this year due to the fact that we:
Have no O line
No running game
Limited playmakers in the passing game due to injury
Engram
A surprisingly sub-par D
Overall poor coaching
I tend to agree that he is not the overt problem, but not necessarily the solution, so he needs to play the string out regardless. At this point, inserting many current league QB’s into his position would likely yield similar results due to the multitude of problems this team currently has.
