If you don't want to listen to the whole video it starts @ 5 min mark in which he talks about Gettleman's first move, the OBJ thing, ect. As much as some of us love OBJ or hate him, that move was the start of the question marks for Gettleman and he has definitely ran his course. About how back with the George Youngs, the Accorsi's, the Welington Mara's, how the Giants weren't concerned about alot of the back page stuff and PR moves/stunts ect we wanted to win football games. Oh man you musht hear it on how he rag dolled our upper management and ownership. A must listen to...

The thing is the point he made about OBJ is at the time, he got ran out of town because of so called not being the Giants type per say overall with his antics and such. Was he ever not performing or doing his job? Missed practice? Caused trouble? I'm not saying we should of kept him but to be honest I wasn't a fan of the trade and frankly didn't care overall the way I feel about sports overall the past 5 years ish. But Gettleman making that move, AFTER SIGNING him LMMFAO then lying after he said we didn't sign him to trade him, that rubbed a lot of people wrong. Did Odell do some shit to cause his demise I won't dispute that but think about it like this. Has the so called Giant way and bringing in so called Giants type of players/personel worked out great for us? The Giant way isn't working so they might want to try something else!!! and by they way that wasn't the only point he was trying to make in reference to Getty but it was one of Getty's first questionable moves and defintiely AT THAT TIME!! |

I couldn't care less about Smith, but this franchise is a public laughing stock. I listened to Mad Dog Sports radio on my way into work and on my way home yesterday. Both of shows agreed that this franchise is a dumpster fire that is living in the past. Cap hell, a shitty overall roster, a horrible front office, suspect coaching, and a back up QB masquerading as a starter? Yeah, we suck on every level imaginable. The people buying into this garbage only have hopes and dreams to cling onto.

To put into perspective how bad we've been as a team, the last time the Giants had a 500 record was 2016, we have not even been 2-2, 4-4, 5-5, etc since 2016! Our starting records in Sept/Oct from 17'-21' have been:

7-30 ! We've been outta playoff contention by Halloween for 5 straight yrs!

Trading Beckham was a great move. Giants fans as far as I know have always been considered some of the most knowledgably football fans around and "classiest" and that came from John Maddon. SAS is talking about stuff he knows nothing about . When he has to add in with the ODB trade he has lost his credibility . |

It wasn't done in Buffalo, or Cleveland or with the Jets and since the Giants have been to 5 Super Bowls in the last 35 years winning four they (the Owners) carry a little clout) .Look fans aren't happy but if fans honestly think they like losing then maybe the fans have the problem. |
