I've watched a lot of Browns football this year (well most of us have since they are on TV all the time) and I think Odell looks great out there. He's suffering from a similar problem as he had last year. They just can't get the ball to him. The Cleveland O line is dreadful and Mayfield is getting spooked. Still a young QB I guess and he'll probably out grow that but we'll see.
I still think he's the most uncoverable WR in the league.
Funny...different teams, different coaches, different systems, different QBs....but the same problems. Hmmmm....it does make one wonder if there is a commonality that links them all. Yeah.. A shitty offensive line will suck the life out of an offense.. Especially a dynamic wide receiver. Can’t catch the football when your QB is lying on his back.

Bad O line. That very well might be it. The OL allows everything else to work, without at least an adequate one, it matters little who's at the skill positions.

But I have heard many times around these parts that blaming the OL is "just another excuse". So that can't possibly be it.

Pretty sure that's what we are talking about. But I realize you will never get over your Eli obsession, so have at it. Curious as to why a great young QB is having the exact same problems with a bad OL though as an old washed up one. I'm sure you will tell me.

And over the years this offensive line deserved ridicule and blame. If you get beat like a drum repeatedly by the opponent then you have to find a new line of work. Look at this year compared to the others, they aren’t great but I think it’s safe to say they aren’t the reason for our failures on offense. Yeah.. Been hearing it for years. Was it not part of our issues on offense?

He seems unable to handle a pass rush well. I hope for the kid he can overcome it. Until then, the entire passing game is going to struggle.
