Wan'Dale Robinson caught 8 passes for 50 yards on 9 targets on 3rd down against the Cowboys. Despite the high catch rate, they only converted 2/9 of those 3rd downs. Both conversions were caught 4 yards behind the 1st down marker. This is DJs limitations severely hampering our offense. Robinson was infuriating last night. How many times is he going to run a route short of the sticks? Those are rookie mistakes. He made some plays but he left even more in the field. Why is this always the case with Giants players? It is time to change it up think that is by design for them to make someone miss but with teams not respecting the deep ball as much they will rally to ball and put the hurts on our WRs. This deep ball issue is a huge issue he has missed on every one over the first 4 games.

He played a good game. Stayed in the pocket, sensed pressure, was accurate on short and medium throws, has started cycling through his receivers.
But you can’t have DJ as your QB, have a one dimensional offence and win when he misses every run-in WR route that would have turned this game into a W.
That was not a good enough performance.
But DJ haters will hate this: he’s getting better every game. That was a better game from him than in Cleveland.
If this is his ceiling, he won’t be here next year. But so far (this season) he’s improving every week. If it’s not his ceiling we may still have a season.

We can get the same production from any run of the mill veteran “backup.” He is playing the way Tommy DeVito does. No deep threat at all. I don’t know if the neck and knee have taken the juice out of his arm, but he is basically demonstrating he does not have an NFL arm at this point.

I don’t agree with that opinion. But like I said, we’ll be testing it out next year most likely.

That and turn overs. Jones effects play calling for any offensive coordinator. It's why they wanted a QB in the draft.

This was a truly awful game played by our QB. All he did was dump it off when Dallas was daring him to throw downfield. He played in a way that guaranteed a loss.

You’re like the dad on here. Hearing how much you hate my opinion is not how I wanted to go into the weekend. Think I’ll become a stripper to teach you a lesson. Unfortunately we’re not going to see eye to eye on this. If two long balls (that he should have thrown accurately) turn into 14 points we would be having a completely different conversation. Unless you’d plan to come on here and say that other than the two deep TDs completions this (70% 330 yards, 2-1 TD/Int) performance and a prime time win over Dallas was a truly awful game. How we get there doesn’t really matter to me. The conclusion is the same. He’s not good enough to keep him as our starting QB after yesterday. It this wasn’t his 6th year I’d have a different opinion. How we get to the same conclusion is less important to me.

Tried it a few times bad results. my body cannot process it . They’re definitely triggers for me. I avoid them 99% of the time. It’s more behavioural for me. Family is filled with addicts and I have the gentlest version (drugs alcohol and gambling are much worse). I need to think of food as fuel most of the time, and prioritize how much I “love” something less. It’s a responsibility like a job or raising kids. I don’t feel like doing algebra at 9:45 or going to work on a snowy Monday in February, but I do it. Same thing as ordering fish and a salad when everyone else is crushing wings and fries at a restaurant. Deprioritizing food pleasure makes everything better in my life. Just have to remind myself that it’s a better than fair deal in my favour.

For sure, Nabers was taking some shots Jones has open guys he either makes Ds pay or he needs to go Daboll ha step play book open and he is giving him and the 0 every opportunity to win and win big. I can see now how Allen was so great under him he has a limitless arm and will hit those big plays at a good clip this offense works Im actually excited about the OL, and what can be once they get some one who can throw it.

I don’t know if the neck and knee have taken the juice out of his arm, but he is basically demonstrating he does not have an NFL arm at this point. He isn't a rookie. Improving every game is a load of horse shit. The guy is in a clean pocket most of the time. Any journeyman QB can make the throws that he is making. Even the ones he is completing are putting the receiver in a position to have to adjust, which limits the YAC. This guy is done. He will be gone after this season, book it.

This has always been a gripe of mine. While some fans are celebrating a completion and the yards, I’m also seeing lost opportunity. Now granted I didn’t see last night’s game but Jones’ inaccuracy can’t merely be measured by comp% Look at this throw from last night. Jones has all day to throw. Nabers doesn’t have a defender in the same zip code. This is a routine and easy as it gets. Yet Jones throws a shit pass that completely neutralizes Nabers weaponry. This is a horrific NFL throw. www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/41463620

Barkley might’ve had similar stats on a play to play basis, but there are chunk plays he would’ve been able to pick up for us that are being left on the field due to the current lack of talent. Nothing against Singletary but he’s a very average RB once he makes the first defender miss. Said it last night, but I’d start expanding the RB rotation. Get Tracy more involved and consider bringing up Miller. Not only can Miller be a potential return man but if we’re going to throw everything within 5 yards of the LOS we might as well have some players with the juice to take it to the house. Tracey had a big play called back and a really tough physical catch and run he is learning he has only been and RB for year Right. Tracy seems to add more of a spark between the two. Singletary had a couple of big runs too, and was able to beat defenders to the corner for a couple big plays, but he doesn't seem to have much burst. He almost looks slow at times. I think we'll start to see Tracy get more run, and I'm honestly interested to see what Miller would do in a limited role. I remember he looked a bit stiff in the pre-season, but there were times where his speed jumped off the screen and he was a shoestring tackle away from taking it to the house. Call him up to the active roster, sprinkle him in here in there to give the defense a completely different look, and run more of a 3-headed "monster" system.

Robinson was infuriating last night. How many times is he going to run a route short of the sticks? Those are rookie mistakes. He made some plays but he left even more in the field. Why is this always the case with Giants players? This deep ball issue is a huge issue he has missed on every one over the first 4 games. We can continue to point fingers at this player and that player, this coaching call and that coaching call, but nearly every issue this team has stems from the QB play. We've become numb to it, and most of us are tired of using it as the excuse, but everything always seems to come back to the QB.

It is unreal that they averaged less than 2 yards per carry against the worst run defense in the league. They barely averaged one yard. Even with Dallas loading up on stopping the run and letting 8 beat them, that is embarrassing. Dallas has used this formula of letting 8 beat then for years. It clearly has worked for them since they've had their foot on our throats for a very long time.
