Got bailed out by receivers most of the time. Can’t pass deep, kept underthrowing

This game was set up for Jones to win it.
There was plenty of blame to go around, but if Jones could've made the throws he should be able to make, we wouldn't won by two scores.

He's been incrementally better each week so far. Still not great, but he's been improving. Pass protection has been really good so far, but our run blocking is abysmal.

Drops were frequently because the receiver had to work back to the ball.

With Kirk Cousins or any average level starting QB we win by two TDs

Very, very, very deceiving stats. If you didn’t watch the game then you wouldn’t know better. Get rid of him.

He might be the worst deep ball thrower in the NFL. The offense’s ceiling is capped immensely with him under center

The pass blocking was great...DJ was DJ, he's holding this offense back more than he helps it. Another waste of a year.

Drops were frequently because the receiver had to work back to the ball. drops are drops. Robinsons at the end was a drop. Nabers has a straight drop. The slayton one wasn't the easiest to catch but with a defender on your right shoulder the ball should be on the left to give slayton the chance to make a play. The ball in your hands it's a drop you want to complain about deep balls under thrown or run after catch potential sure but there were a lot of drops that should have been caught that killed drives

He was ****ing awful.
Dump off. Dump off. Dump off. Dump off...Dump off.
Nabers one on one with a back up and he doesn't even look his way. If they cut him tonight it would be too soon.

This used to be his strength it's surprising When you never do it, hard to be good at it. I guarantee he's thrown the fewest passes, over 20 yards, of any QB in the NFL. DJ is just scared to do it.

It was another pedestrian performance by an underwhelming QB who sucks at throwing the ball down the field.

He's a bad QB.
Has lost all deep ball ability he displayed his rookie year, is incapable of challenging defenses (even with time to throw).
The Giants held the ball for 11 minutes longer than the cowboys and produced about 10 more yards. Jones had 29 completions for 281 yards. That's the definition of pedestrian.
2 things: Sometimes games are dink and dunk, it happens based on what the D gives you. The difference is Jones has no history to say that's not who he just is, and 2. Even if you have to play like that in a game, you have significant scoring chances and can't create one TD from them in a game with those stakes?
The ceiling for this offense is just so low with him under center and it's so obvious.

For someone who was dubbed a great deep ball thrower, I have never seen someone consistently miss on deep balls where guys are wide open. In previous weeks he missed by overthrowing guys by 5 yards and at least 3 times today he under threw balls that were big plays or possibly TDs
Yes, Slayton, Robinson, and Nabers had drops that killed us as well. That being said, if an average QB we win this game. It didn’t even seem like he was hit all game but 90% of the time he wasn’t targeting someone more than 2 yards downfield.
Even good looks on check downs he had poorly placed balls that killed drives. One to Malik Nabers on a LB sticks out in particular. He threw it behind him and killed any YAC possibility
He’s playing better but it is very much clear he is not a starting NFL QB

When he actually threw it downfield...it was horribly underthrown.
And EVERY pass is late. He's always late with the ball.

Not as bad/huge of a drop off as Peyton Manning after neck surgery but the loss of accuracy deep is obvious. It's a shame DJ actually has some pieces around him now but seems to have lost his touch on the deep ball.

It is absolutely scary thinking about what this offense would look like without Nabers. Running game has looked pathetic the last two weeks. The gameplan was obviously very run heavy but they had a hard time getting 2 yards on any run. I kept on hearing all week how Dallas had a historically bad run defense.
