It is time to change it up think that is by design for them to make someone miss but with teams not respecting the deep ball as much they will rally to ball and put the hurts on our WRs. This deep ball issue is a huge issue he has missed on every one over the first 4 games. We can continue to point fingers at this player and that player, this coaching call and that coaching call, but nearly every issue this team has stems from the QB play. We've become numb to it, and most of us are tired of using it as the excuse, but everything always seems to come back to the QB. This should have been a 10 point win it was lost on missed opportunities in the passing game really simple. All anyone has to do is go back to last year when TT took over the second time and was throwing deep with anticipation without the type of WRs or OL the Giants have now his back foot hit the turf and the ball was out and the big play was back in Dabolls offense that simple. Fast forward to this year Jones is trying but he holds it till his target is open by then it is to late throwing a spot is what needs to happen.

They barely averaged one yard. Even with Dallas loading up on stopping the run and letting 8 beat them, that is embarrassing. Dallas has used this formula of letting 8 beat then for years. It clearly has worked for them since they've had their foot on our throats for a very long time. This is the first time where there ar no more excuses he was protected had time had open WRs he can't get it done consistently.

For my own personal sanity, I want to watch anyone else play QB for this team. You saw TT and TDV last year play much better with the same team. I would imagine another QB would outperform him similarly this year. That’s what seems odd to me. Even in this thread most posters saying dj is gone this offseason… Why are we waiting? Send him home. I’m not saying the giants are a playoff team with Lock or Devito, but I’d be immediately more interested and entertained. Keeps Jones out of injury guarantee as well. Schoen, if he still works here, is gonna need that cap space to dig out of this mess.

Sad.... This team would be 3-1 right now with even an average QB who could throw it deep.

People are scared of losing jobs and even though Jones is a limited QB he still gives them the best chance at winning (i think). If Daboll trots out Lock or Devito and they continue to lose the optics look horrible and Mara most likely would not be happy. Mara likes Daniel. So as fans, we see it as okay Daniel Jones is limited and not getting the job done. We're sick of watching him and even if it means replacing him with another backup qb its okay to us bc its just something different at least. They don't see it that way. Daniel jones is still good enough to win a football games against crappy teams. So 6 wins is better to them than 3

I spend too much time reading watching living breathing this damn team. I was praying he would have retired after the neck injury. I dont want to see him anymore. He is awful. The more I watch these highlights from last night and realize how open the WRs are getting, and how he keeps screwing it up, its maddening. Daboll has to see this and bench him.

The pass protection was so good last night too. Has been all year. We've got great pass pro and Malik Nabers, the early frontrunner for ROY.
What are the excuses for Daniel Jones at this point, for the crowd that's still hanging on?

Dabs offense (and the things Kafka brought from the Chiefs), gets guys open, always has. It was even getting a crap pile of WRs open in 2022. Nabers has gone out of his way to highlight Daboll's creativity as a playcaller and give him props on helping him get open. I don't want to lose a system or coaching that is good for the offense. I hope they do the right thing and make a move at QB. For this season and for their futures, honestly.

Jones received a high grade for the game due to his excellent game management but interesting stat regarding Jones. What happened?
Seems like a physical issue rather than a mental one, just hasn't been hitting the shots lately.

Seems like a physical issue rather than a mental one, just hasn't been hitting the shots lately. At this point I'm hoping it's still rust. He missed a lot of time. Week one he was the worst QB in the world, he's made it clear since then that was rust. Is his deep ball just gone or is it rust? I don't have the answer but for our sake as fans I hope it's rust and he finds that grove. We will be dangerous if he figures out the deep ball. Daboll and co need to work some magic and fix that.

Daniel Jones on 3rd downs was 11/14 for 103 yards and 5 yard rush for a first down. He very glaringly needs to fix his deep ball, however this is the best he has ever been in this phase of the game. Losing that game sucked last night but this team gave me some hope that we won't just get destroyed all season. Actually being able to convert 3rd downs, 1 three and out makes me excited to see next weeks game.
The O needs to find a running game, 26 yards rushing won't cut it. They need to stop dropping passes that hit their hands. And Jones needs to figure out the deep pass. If we can get a little better in each area we will be a threat to people. Hell we were a threat last night to Dallas and were horrible in those three areas.

Andrew Thomas: 1 pressure Jon Runyan: 3 pressures John Michael Schmitz: 1 pressure Greg Van Roten: 4 pressures Jermaine Eluemunor: 1 pressure
0 sacks & 0 QB hits credited to the OL.
And he couldn't get a TD. Sorry, but this is on par with his career. He averages almost a TD per game. 66 TDs in 64 games now. Its ridiculous to defend. He hasnt thrown a TD in the last 4 home games. Something that hasnt happened in 74 years.

We cant “find” a running game until DJ stops sucking ass at deep balls. Noone is afraid of getting beat over the top, so they stack up against the short stuff.

The Cowboys showed the rest of the league to sell out against the run and the 10-15+ yards pass plays will keep the Giants out of the end zone.

He was ****ing awful. Dump off. Dump off. Dump off. Dump off...Dump off. Nabers one on one with a back up and he doesn't even look his way. If they cut him tonight it would be too soon. He is the problem. Finally have a good offensive line, dare I say very good offensive line and jones has yet to drive his team in 8 quarters of home football for a TD.

Other organizations try to reach championships and the Giants are patting multimillionaires on their back for failing. The whole damn thing is rotten. Top to bottom. The fans deserve so much better.

How can Jones get passing touchdown when received don't run to the first down marker, no less the endzone!
Jones should have been 34-40, or 85 percent, last night with at least 340 yards but for dropped passes. Who else can do that?
He's a top rated NFL QB and showed that again last night having to overcome a crash coach who doesn't have him pass when defenses have to play both pass and the run.
He completed passes into tight coverages and made an acrobatic body spin move and complete a pass to the left that few can make. Even more if receivers ran to the first down marker and Giants were forced to punt. A guess he's blamed for the last interception. Lot of very stupid comments here. Some good one's Jones is very good. Daboll the worse.
If Daboll remains, I have Joes goes elsewhere and plays for a good coach. But Jones not going anywhere. Daboll realizes Jones did well, but is clueless on how bad he is. Try Kafka as play caller. Will be interesting to see what happens to Daboll.

was it Windy last night? WTF!
