Ogletree still killing it.
DG offered to take on his $10MM/y salary and a couple of draft picks for this guy. Lets let that one settle in. Can Dave really scout? I wonder sometimes how up to date he is.
Anyone taking a look at his Rams tape would have seen many of these plays, I wonder if Mara ever asks him to justify decisions. I really do.

Who would you have picked? Anything not rated as the #2 on your board is in essence a self imposed moving down in the draft. Well speaking for myself I can say that I'm not an NFL GM. I only play one on the internet. Having said that to me it's really a matter of philosophy. Do you pick a RB with the 2nd pick in the draft. By definition, the team is bad. I think we've seen in today's NFL that it's a poor idea without a decent O line. Plus we've seen so many great RB's who come from later rounds. There are certain positions that have to be focused on with a pick that high. QB, LT, Pass rusher, cover corner. Those are the most impactful positions on the field.
So who SHOULD they have picked? We don't have access to the scouting, so really none of us can say. I thought when we traded JPP, Bradley Chubb came into play. But we can certainly agree that over the first two+ seasons......Saquan isn't helping us win. As a matter of fact we won two games last year with him on the sidelines.
It's just the nature of today's NFL.
I agree with you here, we have Saquan and we still can't win a game with him on the team, now he's gone for this year and we'll probably bring in a player who's already played his best games for some other team. The choice of Barkley was popular but IMO not the smartest move for a team needing so much talent at so many positions.

Or just drafted quentin Nelson. Our line was dog shit back then too and am actually transcendent player was there for the taking. Grabbing Nelson that year changes the entire history line. Then we probably won’t grab Hernandez. Nelson would have been a great asset but one player does not make the O line great, 5 good players is what it takes...

Based on the last ten years of this team I doubt Mara has ever done that with anyone.
