I proved you have no short term memory. I literally posted today about Tuck, I am not sure he would get voted in. You posted in the same thread.. You could not remember that?????. Todays threads are from the archive? Where do you come up with this stuff? It is just too funny. No way is Tuck getting in. He doesn't have the numbers to get in from that position and I'm a huge Tuck fan. Osi in my opinion has a better shot than Tuck and he too isn't getting in. No defensive player during Eli's era is getting into Canton. None of them are getting in . If Jared Allen can't get in this past year . Osi and Tuck won't. Just my opinion.

So Tuck and Osi can forget about that pipe dream.

I'm a huge fan of both Tuck and Osi. Both played excellent football for us, and were crucial players on our SB runs during the era. I don't think either quite passes the HoF threshold. They're close enough for mention, but not quite there, imho. Nothing wrong with that either. They should both look back on their careers with tremendous pride, not many players experience what they did.

I'm thinking we would get more from a deal like that than we will from keeping Barkely and hoping he will get back to where he was in season 1.. i'm wondering to but it's got to be someone young and elite or else it had better be 2 damn good star players.

I started to make a post the other day about Edge wanted to ask you guys how Josh Allen was looking.
I looked up his highlights and looks good so far. 10.5 sacks his rookie season and only starting I believe half the games. Hurt some last year and didn't do too too much but in 2 games this year so far has 2 sacks.

TJ Watt for Saquon Barkley... I know this would never happen since we would also have to give up picks as well but imagine how much more potent this defense would be with a guy like that. Oakland has an Edge guy I believe kinda a no namer who came outta nowhere but they were raving about his motor and heck during the game last week I believe it was he was bringing the house man. I've gotta see more of him; I didn't really watch the game.

The sack is a double edged sword with the rules. It can both stop and extend a drive. Getting the QB off his mark to me is a more reliable way for the D to get off the field. Just my opinion. excellent point with these sissie ass rules today smdh

Matter of fact I didn't believe the Chase Young hit on DJ was really a penalty but hell I'll take it and especially since we got bit for it I believe in the first and/or second game on a bogus hit on the qb smh

It is a subjective rule open to interpretation by the official . It can't be challenged either way. I believe just pressuring the QB .Making him think can be effective at disrupting QB WR timing.

Well Slater and Parsons are doing nothing for us against Atlanta but you keep talking about them lol.
This is a perfect example of a strawman argument for anyone interested.
Poster A: "Next years pick is not irrelevant". Poster B: "How does next years pick help us against Atlanta this week",
No one is saying that pick helps us now, you however said "next year is irrelevant" which is what people are disagreeing with. It's not irrelevant and you even admitted it by not being willing to trade all your picks for this season with Nelson. GMs too much make decisions with the future in mind.
Of course they aren’t doing anything for us. They don’t play for us. I asked how is next years pick “not” irrelevant? You and Mike and TEM have yet to answer a single question of mine. Answering a question to a question is lame. So, I’ll ask you.. What is next years pick doing to help us this year? ahhh, took a day off and look at all the action i missed. Was a Happy Friday for sure. I’ll try to catch up Heck yeah i would trade Barkley for a pass rusher. As far as the trade, love to scoreboard watch for that future #1 pick yet aren’t we in desperate mode this year? This wasn’t a fine tuned roster who could afford to trade out with all these holes. Think Slater could have cracked this lineup or does searching the waiver wire for starters make sense? Think Parsons could have cracked this lineup while we wait for one of 10 linebackers rush the QB? How is the WR the Giants drafted? He has as many hit videos as he has yards this year. 0-2 for the fifth straight year so maybe we start our mock draft threads. Meanwhile, next years roster won’t be on the field until Sept and last i checked both Slater and Parsons are on the field helping this Sept. When will our rap artist contribute?

Both guys were main parts of both Superbowl runs. One of the most overlook playoff plays is the Osi strip sack fumble on Aaron Rodgers that cost Green bay 7 points because Greg Jennings was WIDE OPEN in the end zone and Rodgers was ready to throw his easiest playoff touchdown ever. Osi made a game changing altering play back in the 11 divisional round. 2011 feels like 30 years ago with all this losing we've been accustomed too. Smdh.

After yesterday, I need a short stay at Bellevue. Hopefully, a Giant Native American puts me out of my misery by suffocating me to death with a pillow. Last time I checked, we are 0-2 and looking for our first win against the lowly Falcons. A team, that might win two games on the year. We need a coast guard to find our 1st round rookie. While, other players as mentioned have been playing great for their respected teams. Did I mention we have two first round picks next year? That’s important in our development of this season. We have two aces in our hand, but yet no one wants to play with us. It’s been five straight years of being 0-2? Feels like an eternity, does anyone remember what a winning season feels like? I sure don’t. Wait, this is negative talking. Don’t want to wake up the mod squad. Positive, have to talk positive.. Where was I? Oh yeah, we’re terrible..

No
Pass Rush is a big need for the Giants, but who are we getting in replacement for Barkley that's equal to or better than him? I'd rather the Giants draft a pass rusher next year with one of the picks.

This offseason, I mentioned on a Giants forum on Facebook how I would consider trading Barkley for Chandler Jones and extended him for a few years. This was prior to free agency and all that. So yeah, I would do it if the deal made sense.

He wouldn’t have fitted here anyways, he likes to sack opposing quarterbacks. Our defense, is still practicing social distance.

It really isn't anything against Barkley, who is extremely talented. Outside pass rushers are just way more valuable in today's game. RBBC is the way to go.

First of all nobody is trading Barkley, period.
If Barkley doesn't get healthy it's a failed experiment. If he does come back he gets re signed as the highest RB. This is what will happen.
If Barkley gets healthy and reaches his first year potential it's a magnificent pick.
As far as lineman Slater would really have helped our OL immediately. He could have been in his 3rd position on the line going into the 3rd game, lol.
Parsons would have been a beast next to Martinez and we could have moved him outside on passing downs. He would be Grahams ultimate chess piece.
Toney who knows what he can do and how much of a weapon he is. But we do have another 1st and 4th rd pick next year. And the 1st rd looks like a top 8-9 pick. We need to see before we can truly judge anything. Me I am excited about the pick next year but am frustrated with all get out over Toney. I would have liked Moore he is actually a wide out not a gimmick guy.
Toney the slot, man in motion, swing passes, reverses, etc. This is all I hear another small guy, fast and shifty, I hope I'm wrong but I'm not excited over Toney. Where does he fit into our offense, 3rd down back, is replacing / alternating with Shep ? I hope not.
Whats the plan a 1st rd pick that isn't set in a position ?

What team would be dumb enough to trade a top pass rusher for a RB?.....except one where Dave is making the calls obviously.

Right now?? No, definitely not when Graham is doing his best Bettcher impression as Giants DC. They have the talent, Graham has just been misusing it. The only real weakness is NT. But scheme could even assist the NT a bit.

That’s what “real” brothers do. They fight, bleed a little, and go get a few drinks afterwards. Boy howdy! When I played rugby in college there would be regular all out brawls and people throwing hay makers at each other on the field but it was pretty much tradition to get together after the game with the other team and share a keg. No hard feelings carried over, just a few black eyes and broken bones, haha.

Have to be, running with a huge oblong ball with angry men looking to hit you, with the only protection is the clothes on your back.
